About Us

The Training Advice Shop is the public advice website for Training Advisory Group (TAG). TAG has been providing its support services to businesses and individuals across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset since 1996.

Our range of professional services includes the provision of training needs analysis and assessment, action planning to support individuals in making appropriate decisions on a wide range of learning and work opportunities. Research and brokerage of appropriate training/development provision, mentorship to support the businesses and those individuals pursuing training. Where eligible, we provide additional support to enable the client prepare any subsequent application for funding to finance part or all of their training costs.

We have worked with the Learning Partnerships in the South West, Learning South West, the SW Tourism Skills Network, Business Link, the Enterprise Agencies, the LSC, SWRDA and the European Social Fund to help deliver associated projects and initiatives.

All TAG Advisers have considerable experience in the field of training and development through their work in and with the training, education and business development sectors across the South West.

TAG has had to embrace the pace of change which enables us to respond to a range of challenges arising from that very culture.
